After-Care

  • Following treatment, the patient is prescribed a daily dose of oral Naltrexone for up to one year. Naltrexone - a non-addictive, non-mood altering medication - is known as an opiate inhibitor which eliminates the physical cravings, and prevents the patient from experiencing any narcotic effects (high) if they were to ingest opiate substances.
  • Licensed therapists assess each patient's specific emotional and social needs and offer individualized After-Care options to help patients move beyond their dependency.
  • Staff members assist patients in re-creating a productive and fulfilling life without the shadow or stigma of stereotypes.
  • Instead of forcing the patient to adapt to a whole new style of living, we adapt our After-Care program to reflect each patient's individual reality and needs, giving them a great chance of success.
  • The After-Care program is headed by David Crausman, Ph.D. , licensed marriage and family therapist (lic #MFT30332).
